Easy MP3 Downloader is a program that offers a quick method to find and download songs in MP3 from the web. The application can download music stored on streaming websites like YouTube, Google Video, Yahoo!, etc.; and, as it differs from file-sharing programs (P2P), its creators claim it is a 100% legal method to download music. Browsing the database of popular websites, the program puts at our disposal a huge amount of free songs to download. It is necessary to highlight though, that the application specializes only in downloading single, individual songs, instead of full albums.

Finding and downloading songs is actually very straightforward. The interface of the program shows a player-like window with a search section where we simply type the name of a song or artist. Before choosing a track to download, we can listen to it to test its quality for instance, and also see some information like the length of the track, popularity, etc. We can also edit the ID3v2 tags of the song we are downloading. Apart from the main search area, the program offers two alternative sections to look for music: one features the most popular artists of the moment, and the other presents music organized into genres.

The program works really fine, and the download speed in the trial version is relatively good; however, I don’t really see the point in purchasing a program to download songs that we can actually get for free, without using any applications.
